The Arizona Department of Transportation (“ADOT”) invites interested parties to attend a Presubmittal
Conference/Industry Forum regarding a prospective future solicitation for:
Phoenix-Casa Grande Highway [Interstate 10 (I-10)]
SR 202L (Santan/South Mountain) to Gila River Bridge
Design-Build Capacity Improvements
ADOT seeks the design and construction industry’s attendance at a meeting discussing the above project. The meeting is to be held Monday, November 13, 2023, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at the ADOT Human Resources Development Center (HRDC) located at 1130 N. 22nd Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009. Parking is available on the west side of 22nd Avenue, north and south of the building. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
A presentation will be offered by ADOT staff beginning at 10:00 am to provide detail on the upcoming future solicitation, including a general overview of the Project’s scope, anticipated Request for Qualifications (RFQ) release the week of December 11th, 2023, tentative Project procurement schedule, and a summary of ADOT’s design-build procurement process under Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) Title 28, Chapter 20, Article 13. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers following the presentation. ADOT intends to use the Contract template developed by ADOT through discussion with the Associated General Contractors (AGC), also being used for the on-going I-10 Country Club Rd and Kino Pkwy TIs
Project (010 PM 262 F054801C), as the basis for this Project’s Request for Proposals (RFP) and Contract.
Interested parties are encouraged to contact ADOT at any time following receipt of this Notice until the release of the RFQ to request a meeting with ADOT staff during normal business hours to discuss the Project during the week of December 4, 2023. Questions regarding this Notice and any requests to meet shall be directed to the following ADOT staff:

This Notice is intended solely to assist ADOT on an administrative level and is not a formal solicitation or indication of a procurement process. Any submissions will not be evaluated. No contract or agreement will be entered into because of this Notice.
Attendance at the Presubmittal Conference/Industry Forum and/or response to this Notice is not a prerequisite for participating in a future procurement. Such participation would be subject to demonstrating satisfaction of the criteria stipulated in potential subsequent solicitation documents. ParCcipaCon in this PresubmiDal Conference/Industry Forum and ensuing meetings, or an election not to participate, will not confer on any Respondent any preference, special designation, advantage or disadvantage whatsoever in any subsequent procurement process related to the Project.
