Legislative Progress, Workforce Momentum & Key Events
ACEC Arizona continues to build momentum across advocacy, workforce development, and member engagement as the 2026 legislative session progresses.
Legislative Update
The Legislature remains active on key issues impacting our industry, including water policy, transportation funding, and infrastructure development. They are actively moving towards budget negotiations, so we will share what we can when it becomes available to us.

Workforce in Action
STEM Game Day at the University of Arizona was a major success, introducing hundreds of students to engineering through hands-on experiences and industry engagement.
The momentum continued with a Student & Industry Mixer, hosted by ACEC National and ACEC-AZ connecting students directly with ACEC member firms and strengthening interest in the talent pipeline.
Next up: STEM Game Day at Northern Arizona University (NAU)—another opportunity to engage the next generation and we need volunteers - April 29th.
This Week: Committee Activity
A full slate of committee meetings is underway this week:
-
