For more than two decades, ACEC Arizona's Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) program has recognized the projects, firms, and clients that demonstrate the highest levels of engineering innovation, technical excellence, and community impact.

From transformative transportation improvements and water infrastructure projects to groundbreaking building systems and environmental solutions, the Engineering Excellence Awards showcase the remarkable work being delivered by Arizona's engineering community.

Small Projects-Total construction budget under $2.5 million

Large Projects-Total construction budget over $2.5 million

Studies, Research & Consulting Engineering Services

Research studies, feasibility studies, technical papers, public outreach, value engineering, and consulting services.

Building / Technology Systems

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communications, technology systems, sustainability initiatives, and energy efficiency projects.

Structural Systems

Buildings, bridges, tunnels, towers, seismic design, foundations, and stadiums.

Surveying & Mapping Technology

GIS, photogrammetry, land surveying, GPS, construction surveying, and mapping technologies.

Environmental

Remediation, restoration, air quality, recycling, hazardous waste, and environmental mitigation projects.

Waste & Storm Water

Wastewater treatment, stormwater management, erosion control, and related infrastructure.

Water Resources

Water supply, treatment, distribution, storage, flood control, watershed management, and water conservation.
