Arizona communities face growing infrastructure needs, but identifying affordable funding for planning, design, and construction can be a major challenge. Join ACEC Arizona for a special breakfast presentation featuring Jessi Pederson, Director of the Greater Arizona Development Authority (GADA), to learn how this state infrastructure financing program can help move critical projects forward.

Jessi will provide an overview of Greater Arizona Development Authority (GADA), including who is eligible, what types of projects can be financed, and how communities can access no- and low-interest financing and technical assistance. GADA supports eligible rural and Tribal communities, political subdivisions, and special districts with infrastructure investments and project-readiness assistance.

The discussion will cover opportunities to support projects involving roads and transportation, water and wastewater systems, energy and other public infrastructure, as well as funding that can help communities advance projects from early planning and engineering through design and construction. GADA currently offers technical-assistance loans of up to $100,000 at no interest for eligible early-stage activities such as engineering plans, feasibility studies, and financial analysis, along with long-term, low-cost bond financing for qualifying infrastructure projects.

This session will be especially valuable for public agency leaders, engineers, planners, public works professionals, finance professionals, and consulting firms interested in helping communities turn infrastructure needs into fundable, deliverable projects.
