This presentation will cover the history and evolution of wildlife crossings, with a focus on applications in the Southwest and Arizona. It includes an overview of available wildlife crossing solutions, a summary of buried bridge systems, and an explanation of the soil-structure design methodology including finite element analysis using CANDE modeling. The session will also highlight relevant case studies and conclude with an overview of some Design Suite tools used in project development.
