Federal Register Notice - Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) and Request for Comments Engineering and Design Related Services

For your awareness - FHWA published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) and Request for Comments in the Federal Register this morning pertaining to proposed updates to the regulations on engineering and design related services for projects funded through a discretionary grant.

The intent of the proposed rule is to clarify how the regulations apply to recipients other than a State DOT, as well making a number of technical changes and corrections.
